Just had a shot at 2 field mice in my backyard, they were eatin’ my damn grass seed.

Just missed them.

As Turkey Season gets closer, we need to remember the golden rule….

DROP THEM DAMN TOMS!!!!!!!!

Went out this weekend to camp and chase some hogs around the Winding Stair region of Southeast Oklahoma.

Saturday morning we went out and did some scouting and put the stock on some hogs, Cam tried to get the drop on some, but they were jumpy…..

after lunch, we took back to the trail and came up on a small bog, and in that bog, was a hog, and in that hog….was an arrow….my arrow.

My new Z7 dropped it in there at about 12 yards, and wrecked it.

Finally connected with this here little buck last friday night.
High lung hit, very little blood. Luckily the lil fella only went about 20 yards and dropped.

Looks like we have a contender……..and some chumps…..

This swamp rabbit made an appearance while I was in the cedar blind tonite. 2 does that I had been eyeballing for a few minutes actually spooked when the bunny came out of the brush. Thats when i decided he needed to go. Rabbit this big will cook up good.

Oct 3rd 7:55AM

Got in the stand at about 6:40 or so, got the camera runnin, bow set, Ready To Go.

at 7:00 the feeder down the way goes off as planned, so the deer should be moving through my area any time. Got contact with them (3 doe, 1 fawn, and a spike buck) about 7:20. Tried to get an opening to take the buck, but to no avail, they headed down for breakfast.

I have been watching them on the field cams for a few weeks, and have their pattern down.

At 7:45 ar so they come back up the trail, this time with the doe in the lead.

She stopped to smell the ground.

Her Last Mistake….

Bowtech General “El Jefe”, and the Smoke Broadhead saw to that……
